Compared to the SXE, the Alley Cat has a slightly narrower outline with more nose rocker, slightly less tail rocker, and a shorter, less pronounced Vee off the tail. The tail outline maintains width throughout until a slight hip to a round squash tail pod, providing stability, speed, and control. The breaking point in the outline allows for tight pivoting turns.

The bottom contours feature a single to double concave inside a single concave. The deep concave from 24'' back provides lift and speed, while the rail rocker changes from a generous forward concave around the front fins to a deeper, more curvy rail line.
